Audi TT 3. 2 V6 Quattro DSG. 2003.
Metallic light blue with contrasting heated Ivory leather interior. 73, 800 miles. Recent service, with full service history. Original owners pack including a stamped service history book. Recently refurbished 18” Original Audi TT. ULEZ compliant.
Overall in very, very good condition, but not mint.
Very costly item to consider when buying an Audi TT 3. 2 v6 that make this one worth a look:
Not an issue for this car at 73. 5K miles:
• Replacement cam chain between 100K and 120K miles cost £1, 500 - £1, 750
• Replacement Clutch also 100K and 120K cost £1, 500 - £1, 750
Stuff that always goes wrong and already replaced on this car:
• Replacement DSG controller £800 - £1, 000
• Replacement catalytic converter £800 - £1, 000
There are two minor issues with this car:
1. There are missing pixel lines for the small display between the rev counter and the speedo; this is common to virtually all TT MK1’s unless the display has been replaced. Cost around £200 if you get someone to do it or £10 for the display if you are DIY capable.
2. Driver’s door sometimes does not lock/ unlock via the remote key-fob. It has had a replacement actuator mechanism and door lock which didn’t fix the issue. I have a second TT with no issue and switched over both the actuator and door lock and still the problem persists. The driver’s door dead locks/ unlocks perfectly from key use.
Bought to use as an everyday car, it is ULEZ compliant.
I did have a buyer who agreed a price of £5000 but didn't tell me that he needed to borrow the money to finance the car purchase. So please don't ask to view unless you are in the position to buy the car and in the position to pay the asking price.
Also, you can only test drive the car if you can prove you have comprehensive insurance for any car. I've been down this road a few years ago where a potential buyer had an accident only to find his insurance was third-party for car's he didn't own.
