Description

2011 Jaguar XF 5. 0L Naturally Aspirated V8 Premium Luxury in Liquid Silver with a full black leather interior. 5 owners. It has currently done about 64, 220 miles however this may rise slightly over the next few weeks. Both keys are present as is the car manual and the service book. The MOT runs until the 2nd December 2023. It is in generally good condition for the age and mileage.

It has the following features and extras:

- Extended soft grain black leather interior
- Heated and cooled front seats
- 16 way electric front seats with the driver’s seat having 2 memory options
- Electric steering wheel adjustment with memory
- Bowers & Wilkins 14 speaker sounds system with Dolby Surround Sound
- Electrochromic rear view and side mirrors
- Electric folding mirrors
- Front and rear parking sensors and reversing camera
- Keyless entry
- 20 inch Selena alloy wheels
- Halogen projector headlights
- Bluetooth for phone calls (no Bluetooth media streaming)
- 4 driving modes: Snow, Normal, Sport, Dynamic
- Electric hand brake
- Factory fitted boot lip spoiler

The car has a mostly full service history (the only book gaps being in 2015 and 2022) and has had quite a lot of work done during my ownership (most of which can be backed up with paperwork) since December 2021 including:

- New heated windscreen (Dec 2021)
- New battery (Dec 2021)
- New driver's side window regulator fitted at a Jag main dealer (April 2022)
- 4 new tyres (255/ 35 R20) – Rear: Continental Sport Contact 7, Front: Uni Royal Rain Sport 5 (fitted autumn 2022)
- New Bosch Aerotwin wiper blades (Oct 2022)
- Various new parts for the rear suspension done during its last MOT (Dec 22) at a Jag main dealer to the cost of £845. 69
- New fan belt and water pump (June 2023)

It is pretty much standard with the only modification being a 5% tune to the power and torque done by a previous owner which would take the power to just over 400hp now. The tune was done by a company called Delta Performance in September 2021. (I have the paperwork receipt of the work done but no dyno figures).

The condition is generally pretty good for its age with the only imperfections being, some minor kerb marks on the front passenger side wheel, some stone chips on the bonnet/ front bumper, a small paint chip on the driver’s side rear door handle, some minor wear to the driver’s seat bolster, a small mark in the carpet on the rear central tunnel and some chrome peel on a few of the decorative blades in the wheels.
In terms of brakes I have been told by a local garage the brake pads and discs have plenty of meat left on them.

There is a little bit of work that needs doing:

- It is slightly overdue a service based on time, not mileage as I only do about 4000 miles a year. It last had a service in December 2021 but has only done 7157 miles during that time. There is a message on the dashboard on start-up which says 'Service Due' for about 10 seconds, then disappears.
- It could do with a wheel alignment as the tracking is slightly off. I did give it a 4 wheel alignment in November 2022 however it seems to have gone off a bit over time. I think this might be due to a combination of the large wheels and our terrible roads.

Everything that was thrown up at the last MOT fail has been repaired at a Jag main dealer so in theory it should fly though its next one without too much trouble. The dealer told me it is in excellent condition and that it is a very sorted example. Given the car has a 5 litre naturally aspirated V8 with around 400hp it is fantastic to drive. It has excellent response and is never lacking for power really in any gear. It is very quick off the line from a standstill and is also an excellent and brilliantly comfortable long distance cruiser. The steering is quick light in the typical Jaguar fashion but is very feel some. You can really sense what the car is doing between your fingers.

As you would expect the economy compared to the average car is not great but for a 5 litre V8 it is actually pretty good. During my ownership over the last 7000 miles or so I have averaged 25. 8mpg which beats the officially listed 25. 3mpg. The best I have seen was 34. 3mpg on a several hundred mile trip from the south coast up to York. It particularly likes motorways where it can cruise at ease at a decent speed and where it gets its best mpg. If you are doing lots of stop start city commuting you should expect more around 16mpg. About once a month I do a 100 mile trip from Wiltshire down to West Sussex where I can pretty easily average 28mpg. With the driving I do I would say on average I get around 350-380 miles on a tank.

I have mostly been using the car for my long distance and holiday trips and transporting family around. It is a very comfortable car and it also has a pretty big boot so is a very good holiday car. I am looking to move it on now as I have two cars and I am just not really using this one any more. I would love to see it go to a good home.

I am more than happy to answer any further questions or provide further photos if required. I believe I have priced the car fairly given it needs a service. I have priced it lower than the Auto Trader recommended private sale price. I am happy to do a bit of negotiating however. I am also open to a part exchange deal for a cheaper car depending on what you are offering.
