A superb example of this FPT marque. Bought from one of the leading Saab 900 Classic garages in the UK, and meticulously maintained and serviced by those same mechanics since purchase. NO expense has ever been spared to ensure this car has remained an outstanding specimen. Roof was recently replaced, there is no rust anywhere, and all bills are kept in a dossier. Only modification is a more efficient sports exhaust that still maintains the Saab burble. The garage (twostroketoturbo) will happily endorse the vehicle to any serious interested buyer.
Air Con is working fine, and the auto roof mechanism has never once had an issue. The seats are not electric, and I have no alarm system (holes). The car has been kept in a carcoon, in a garage since purchase. It turns heads wherever it goes, partly since the black paintwork has been professionally detailed. The beige leather is cooler than black versions, but obviously worn in the usual places. I have not had the leather professionally cleaned yet, but am sure a good treatment will enhance it still further. There are no rips or significant scuff marks. Tonneau is supplied. I would suggest that mechanically, it is one of the best FPT examples to be found for sale in the UK currently. It was the reason I bought it, since the reliability and condition are part of my passion for these cars. It is very responsive to drive, and handles better than any of my previous 900 classic turbo convertibles, including a green auto version I also own. Space requirements are the only reason for selling.
I hope the buyer will also have the same passion for these incredible cars, that seem to encourage random smiles, thumbs ups, and even offers to buy it left under windscreen wipers.
I would even consider an agreement to buy it back, (if it disappointed in some meaningful way) knowing better than anyone else the quality of its condition, and general provenance.
