Bought as a restoration project but now not needed as I have decided to buy a 4L petrol version of the same car.
This will be ideal for someone who wants to restore it or needs spares for their own XJ.
It starts (with a jump as the battery is flat), runs and drives and the transfer box switches incredibly smoothly from 2WD through to 4WD in both high and low ratios.
This has the manual box, being a diesel and relatively low mileage for a car of this age.
Interior is is really very good condition.
Bodywork is going to need some welding if this is to be put back on the road.
Too good to scrap. Have been asked if I will strip parts off and sell them individually but I'd rather sell as a complete vehicle as I don't have the time to strip it down to parts. Iconic 4X4 with a cult following and legendary off road capability.
