(Now Sold) An unmolested mussel bike it's been my pride and joy over the year's a Honda CBX1000 Z in candy red and black .
First registered in 05/ 12/ 1978 .
The motorcycle has been in our family for over 30 years and will be sad to see it go.
But my age been over 65 and unable to ride it like i use to and family commitments means i will have to let it go now to a new owner who will love and carry on using the CBX 1000z and to look after this fantastic machine like I have.
It is a genuine UK market spec and has all the relative features with only 42549 miles on the clock, this has not been imported from Europe or America etc. The bike has spent the majority of its life sat in a home workshop and has never been restored.
It's all there and is ready to be used . Currently sporting an excellent set of period Marving exhaust and down pipes which are almost identical to the originals .
I also have a 6 in to one Falcon Endurance pipe which sounds absolutely amazing which will go with the bike.
Timing chain and adjusters have been replaced a couple of years ago and clutch and basket also and new front Fork seals.
New chain and sprockets and a new set of tyres too.
The engine starts runs and ticks over as it should. The carbs have been striped and cleaned.
The tank has a small dint on the top but hasn't broken the paint it's was there when purchased over 30 years ago it's never bothered me and is clean and rust free inside.
The fork stanchions have very minimal pitting all of which is above the bottom yoke and there is none where they travel through the fork oil seals, the rear dampers are free from pitting also.
There's only a couple of decals that have come off over the years as in the photos the front foot rests decals and rear shock decals.
Will be a fantastic investment for someone who wants to make it pristine for little work.

The CBX supersport was the must have bike in the late 70's early 80's and with the feat of engineering and the immense sound it was understandable why. These bikes are becoming rare to get hold and bikes like these don't come up often so if you are after a modern classic that is a sound investment .
