On offer is a very rare Austin Healey Lenham LeMans coupe in exceptional condition.
These vehicles were converted in the 1960s on the basis of the Austin Healey Sprite with a GRP body by Lenham. Only a few pieces were made, so these vehicles are extremely rare today.
This Lenham has been completely rebuilt in recent years. Unfortunately, the starting basis was so bad that a "new" chassis of a Healey Sprite had to be procured to create a proper basis.
The entire vehicle was built with new or used/ refurbished parts and is now in 2+ condition.
Extensive documentation of the restoration is available.
The 948cc engine was also overhauled and subjected to a slight power boost. The engine runs very well and responds well to the gas. It is coupled to a rare 5-speed gearbox, which can also be switched easily. Chassis, suspension and braking system have also been completely renewed and work perfectly.
A second 1275 engine with approx. 80hp can be purchased if required.
The interior has been redesigned true to the original and has a roll bar, sports seats and all important instruments.
The GRP body and the paint condition are also good.
The Lenham has a German registration and H license plate.
