This MR2 is in superb condition outside, inside and underneath. Totally standard apart from a ‘Jimmy’ throttle bracket which uncovers this beautiful engine, probably Toyotas finest masterpiece, the original ‘Spider’ bracket will come with the car. The same engine put in the legendary Toyota Corolla GT Coupe rwd ( AE86 ). This car has been lovingly looked after and has just benefitted from a recent pampering at my local Toyota dealership having a super major service comprising of new oil and oil filter, air filter, fuel filter, spark plugs, new gearbox oil, new brake fluid, new engine coolant and most importantly of all a new cam belt and kit all documented and recorded at Toyota. To buy a AE86 in this condition would cost around £50, 000, why bother when you can have this mid engined rear wheel drive Toyota with additional ultra cool pop up headlights and a sound to die for at a fraction of the price!! The sunroof comes with it’s original clip in shade and typical of Toyota everything works as it should including the factory fitted Toyota radio cassette, bring back the 80’s!! All original hand books including radio cassette and stamped service book. M. O. T’d till May 2024, 4 owners from new. There are not many AE11 Toyota MR2’s in this un-modified un-molested condition on British roads left today and prices are going up. This engine begs to be revved and sounds more like a super bike than a little 1600cc car. In my opinion the most underrated drivers car ever, mid engine rear wheel drive and pop up lights, more reliable than any old Ferrari, sounds just as good for a pittance of the money.
