Description
I imported the bike from the US in 2014, it was a one owner bike & I have a copy of the original US title (original retained by DVLA). I bought the CBX from a well known US restorer of these bikes, Terry Schmitt in Charlestone, South Carolina.
Since owning the CBX I have replaced the exhaust system which I obtained from David Silver Spares, I have also installed an aftermarket Denso alternator, the original has been kept & has a rewound rotor & will be available with the bike.
I also have a N. O. S sport kit for the bike which was purchased from Six Center in Holland. The bike obviously came to me US spec & I originally intended to convert it with the sport kit but I actually prefer the US setup. These sport kits are now selling for upto £2000. This is also included in the sale.
The CBX is in excellent working condition & used regularly during the summer months. It is definitely not an over restored example, but a very genuine 44 year old classic.
