Here is a super example of a Subaru Legacy 3. 0R with the desirable 'Spec B' specification. It is a manual 6-speed gearbox. These cars are super rare as a genuine UK dealer network car, particularly in manual configuration, as most are imported and/ or equipped with automatic gearboxes. The car is ULEZ compliant.

This car has a full Subaru dealer service history. The history is full and complete and also shows confirmation of any factory recalls having been done. Both keys are present. It has just over 92, 000 miles currently and still in regular use so it will rise. It is in very nice condition and looks superb in the Atlantic Blue metallic paint; a colour that suits the car very well.
It is a very well equipped car:
all around electric windows,
remote central locking,
automatic air conditioning,
built-in satellite navigation system,
full black leather interior with heated front seats which are both electrically adjustable,
electric sunroof,
electric adjustable and heated door mirrors,
heated front wipers,
genuine Subaru Legacy front, rear and boot mats.
In the last two years it has had, at a cost of over £3000 the following:
Two yearly Subaru main dealer services and items as per the schedule,
two genuine rear springs,
all six new genuine coil packs,
all six genuine spark plugs,
new genuine radiator and coolant flush/ renew.
I have had some work done on the exhaust, which is now entirely stainless steel. The system comprises of Raptor exhaust manifolds into Vibrant performance resonators into Magnaflow 200-cell catalytic converters. It sounds nicely powerful at idle, hinting at the performance without shouting about it and has a proportionate rise through the rev range.
I have also changed the front grill to the Japanese market mesh grill as seen in the pictures. The original comes with the car.
Improvements to make:
Front nearside wing has a scratch on it. It was there when I bought it, privately from a fellow Subaru enthusiast.
CD player does not play. This is not available through Subaru dealers, so I have been trying to source one, so far with no luck. The radio does work and the 'Parrot' system does play through the car speakers, so has not been high on my priorities.
I bought the car two years ago from a chap who cherished it as much as we have. I have ensured that the main dealer service history has been maintained along with only using genuine parts. I have had to wait a while for some items to come from Japan, such as three of the six coil packs and the rear springs. My local Subaru dealer has been fantastic in helping me and clearly enjoy looking after such a rare example of a great car from their back-catalogue.
This is a super car to drive. I've long wanted one and rather despaired of finding a really good one, before this one came up. It is comfortable, fast smooth and drives beautifully. The build quality is outstanding and, I think the shape of this model is elegant and timeless. Such an antidote to the current endless fleets of bloated cars that adorn our streets. It has a lovely turn of speed and handling, with the exhaust dropping hints that it is something a little less ordinary.
I am selling because now seems to be the time for this car to enter the hands of a real serious enthusiast, rather than me, who, while I have enjoyed owning it hugely, now hanker for something else I've not had yet.
