'George' has been in the same family for nearly 20 years
The paint work and chrome present very nicely
The interior is very presentable though the front seat squabs would benefit from being retrimmed
George is currently powered by the engine from a 1937 'New Ascot' following the disaster of breaking the crankshaft in the original engine (the original engine and a 'new' reground crankshaft are included in the sale as are a number if other useful spares)
New battery just fitted - October 2023This car has been much loved and well used by our family for many years. Other than one fatal day, about 10 years ago, when the crankshaft broke, it has been incredibly reliable. Whilst it won't break any land speed records it does move along very steadily.
Used regularly for local shows, 1940's events and family weddings the time has sadly come to part with this lovely old car
