Description
Two previous owners. Purchased in a private sale in Warwickshire, UK, in 1999 with only 5000 miles on the clock.
It was immaculate when purchased and we have endeavoured to keep the original setup other than adding stainless brake hoses.
Stored since 2013, re-invigorated recently with new battery and wiring loom. Original engine, gear box, bell-mouth carbs, seat (in very good condition), and bodywork. One side panel replaced, but not sprayed to match. Rear light has a fine crack on the casing.
Many "just in case" spares included. Tyres are functional and legal, but old.
MOT and VED exempt.
Video of running machine available. I bought this bike as a replacement for my smaller Guzzi, for longer (and faster!) trips. Originally owned by Motorsport designer/ engineer Harvey Postlethwaite who used it mostly on tracks, the second owner used it almost exclusively for the annual Banbury Run, hence the very low mileage when we bought the bike.
It's a beautiful and powerful bike, a joy to ride to ride, we have used it for touring, camping and rallying in Europe and the UK, and have some wonderful memories. Sadly I no longer ride and we now need the space in the workshop.
