This Ultima Edicion is the very last batch of Type1 Beetles ever made. Absolutely beautiful condition, always in use and maintained properly to be a 100% totally reliable, dependable stylish daily vehicle. It was ordered through Beetles UK with the additional options of RHD conversion, electric windows and heated front & rear screens.
It has the punchy fuel injection 1600 twin port engine with hydraulic tappets , serviced with correct oil that has surprising torque for modern traffic. Gearbox smooth with no issues, brakes maintained as they should be. Nothing has been mucked around with and as it should be.
Only additions are the Porsche spot & fog lights, and there is a Blaupunkt DAB Bluetooth radio. Tyres are Blockley classics.
Underside was sealed on purchase and I have had it Lanoguarded since.
The odometer shows around 27000 as it only has 5digits but it is 127, 000 which means around just 80, 000 miles. Nothing for an engine like these. She has only had one previous owner, Roy, who placed the order with Beetles UK. He finally let her go when he reached 85 and decided to hang up his keys. I have known and seen this Beauty around since it first was registered in 2004.
I bought the Beetle as my other daily driver as I am now home based and use the train for work when I need to travel. Absolutely everything works as it should including heating and even the factory alarm / immobiliser.
Loads of smiles per mile and compliments wherever I go.
She has always been kept in a garage and had everything ever needed mechanically sorted immediately by both myself and Roy.
