A rare Estate car with overdrive and many upgrades finished in Triumph Honeysuckle. Very good body and underside with no structural issues or work required. the whole interior is very presentable with unmarked headlining and carpets. Seats are firm and comfortable, the car has a lovely dash and door caps. Five sets of seat belts, fold down back seat making the car very versatile. Replica 15" mini-lite wheels in anthracite with good tyres including the spare. Good chrome bumpers front and rear. Up-rated headlights makes night driving a pleasure. Car is fitted with a secondary bonnet pull for peace of mind. Under bonnet insulation pad. The car is now a 2500cc from a low mileage car. Engine was striped down and rebuilt with the standard pistons, no where was found in the bores in fact a lot of the cross hatching was still visible. I have fitted a new oil pressure gauge in the car as I don't like to rely on just a warning light. On start up the oil pressure is 80psi and 50psi when running hot. The cylinder head came from a 150bhp TR6 car and was professionally rebuilt to the following spec. New valves were cut in and the head unleaded it was then ported and polished new valve stems with valve seals and finally skimmed. A brand new 150bhp cam was fitted along with new cam followers and new push rods. The head has been torqued down again and an aluminum rocker box fitted. New timing chain and tensioner fitted. The HS6 carburetors were rebuilt by Andrew Turner and fueled by an uprated manual pump. Currently the carbs are fitted with DBD needles and protected with a new fuel filter. The distributor was rebuilt by the Distributor doctor to match the specification of the engine, expensive but worth while. new plugs, leads, cap and coil. New drive belts and cables fitted. Refurbished power steering pump with hoses fitted. Rebuilt radiator and cap. The car does not overheat and is also protected with an automatic thermostat with electric fan. Good battery and alternator. A cold air feed pipe to the carbs has proven useful. Good condition gearbox and overdrive with no problems new J type solenoid lets it work as it should. A lightened and balanced flywheel fitted along with a clutch kit and a new clutch slave cylinder. Full stainless steel exhaust system along with a stainless steel down pipe fitted. New gearbox mount, rear spring insulators plus dozens of other parts. New tow bar and electrics only used three times
