Ducati 350 MK 3 Wide Case Engine
This engine has been restored. The itemised breakdown of work is as follow.
• Strip and blast engine cases
• Polish cases to spec
• Clean all parts
• Replace all screws with stainless
• Check and shim all gearbox main shafts
• Clean crank oil feed ways
• Fit new crank sludge plug
• Replace small end bush
• Reshim crank
• Reshim all bevel drives
• Replace all seals
• Hone barrel
• Replace valve guides
• Stelite weld camshaft and regrind and reprofile.
• Stelite weld cam followers and reprofile
• Weld cylinder head exhaust stub and recut thread
• Make good wiring from alternator
• Recondeition gear selector box and reshim all working parts
• Rework bottom bevel half dog sleeve
• Reshim timing side gears and change worn bronze bush on points drive gear.
• Strip clutch and clean all parts using vapour blasting.
• Replace missing thick thrust washer.
• Secure clutch plate bolts (lose)
