Description
Previous owners 8 and registered as "Historic", so no need for an MOT.
Bought privately from Hull in April 2021. Matching engine, frame and transmission numbers.
Fully sorted by Norman White with an invoice for £4, 376 of work. All the work detailed in the invoice. Also there are receipts for a further £2, 545 of parts. Totalling £6, 921 spent by me on this project. One of the last Norton Commando's produced, this bike being produced on 18/ 07/ 1977, and the final Commando rolling off the production line in October that year. Rebuilt engine with a Peter Williams 3 camshaft. All other engine parts standard. Some receipts from the work carried out.
Inside of the tank sealed to deal with modern ethanol in petrol
New premier Amal carburettors
Front brake master cylinder upgraded to 13mm
Electronic ignition fitted, new full wiring loom, headlight, left and right switchgear. Plus much much more.
A copy of the Despatch Record is also included, as provided by Norton Andover.
There are 3 MOT certificates showing indicated mileage at the test, so I am fairly sure the actual mileage is consistent with the displayed mileage on the speedometer. Overall condition suggests this too.
2013 - 17, 580 miles
2017 - 17, 606 miles
2018 - 19, 107 miles
