Hi for sale here is my unique2001 tri-tech Messerschmitt replica, I have owned this vehicle since 2004 and only used on special occasions, the car is based on the Schmitt kr200 and has a glass fibre body so can never rust, it has an 180cc scooter engine fitted that gives plenty of power.
the interior has beautiful cream leather seats that sit one behind the other and is surprisingly roomy, the dash has the usual spec, speedo, fuel gauge, indicator lights etc some of which will need checked over to work correctly again but in excellent condition for the year.
This has been off the road for for many years and had an mot in 2021 then dry stored since.
This is a cracking looking car but will need attention to the steering, brakes and electrics as it?s starting to show its age and needs some tlc from lack of use, it starts via the kickstart but the ignition stopped working with the key last time it was moved so probably something straight forward, the soft top fully unclips and the frame folds away to make a complete convertible but is a bit faded and worn at parts, the bodywork and paint are in great condition as it?s always been dry stored and only has a few minor blemishes consistent with the age.
This car was specifically built for me back in 2001 and did come with a 600cc engine but had to be swapped out due to being too powerful for the braking system so was replaced with an 180cc 2 stroke liquid cooled 21 bhp engine
( still registered as a 600cc so will need updated on the v5 )
the engine also has a separate cooling fan switch to keep the engine cool on hot days and another two air intakes on the body as well.
As above this is a cracking headturning vehicle but will require work to bring it back to its former glory.
It does start and drive but has no mot or insurance so will need trailering away so is being sold as spares or repairs but will make a great fun vehicle again once restored.
