Description
Ford fiesta rs turbo in diamond White
1600 turbo petrol 5 speed, 3 door. 11 months mot no advisories.
Overall in very good condition, resprayed about 3 years ago, whilst all the rust was dealt with in the usual places, in which it had new sill's, rear arches. The whole underneath was then prep'd, stonechipped then sprayed diamond white, which is quite a rare sight these days most I have seen are black waxoyled.
The car drives well, goes well, no gear crunches, gearbox and engine feel strong.
Most of the drivetrain have been renewed since it had its mini overhaul, so new wheel bearings all round, all brakes renewed, including caliper seals pistons replacement, pads discs, shoes, wheel cylinders, lower arms, anti roll bar components, shock absorbers
Engine wise timing belt, waterpump, valve stem seals were replaced at the same time, this year since getting it back on the road it's had a new clutch 3 piece, uprated turbo, but is still using the original t2 turbo.
The car is mainly orignal, a few minor upgrades, such as full stainless steel Scorpio exhaust, it has been lowered, and brakes uprated to braided hoses, uprated aluminium radiator
For those with a keen eye, it doesn't quite have the original wheels, but they are genuine ford ronal wheels, which I am led to believe were optional extra/ upgrade but I may stand corrected.
Everything on the car works as it should, all the electric windows, boot popper, original ford radio, central locking, Convenience light, sunroof etc
Interior again is in good condition, unfortunately a small material tear on the rear of the passenger seat, which is probably it's main let down, along with the fuel cap key is different to ignition/ door key. All in all in my opinion a very good example of a classic fiesta rst
