I purchased the car from an older gentlemen who had owned it for years (I'm only the 3rd owner) He was struggling with the larger size of it so he bought a smaller car. He always had it serviced at his local Toyota main dealership and all of this history is present. It is beautifully original throughout including original audio, interior trim, luggage cover, tool kit, 2 keys and Genuine Toyota accessory headlight covers.

This top VX specification includes Switchable automatic gearbox, Full 2-stage heated leather electric seats, 8 speaker audio system including 6 disc multi changer, Recently refurbished 16" Alloy wheels, Walnut interior trim, Leather steering wheel and gear selectors, Climate Control, Cruise control, ABS, Headlight washers, Electric tilt/ slide sunroof (works very well), Front fog lamps, Electric power-folding door mirrors and All round electric windows. Further options fitted include carpet over mats, New colour coded rear parking sensors and a high quality tow bar set up. A full remote Cat 1 Alarm system has also recently been fitted and includes the certificate.
Body & Chassis
The rear upper tailgate and passenger front wing are known to corrode and both have been professionally replaced/ repaired, painted then cavity-waxed & undersealed with high quality Lanoguard and Dinortrol products. Underneath the car is in remarkable condition with the body's inner and outer sills and wheel arches being replaced with new panels. This is a very big job and would likely need doing on a UK Amazon at so point. The MOT picked up two areas that needed minor attention and these have now been addressed profesionally also, followed by a further Lanoguard and cavity wax session. The exterior trim is all in great condition with no further work needing doing here and I have renewed the bonnet gas struts and wiper blades so these now work fine again and a new pair of front fog lights have also been fitted. The standard 16" alloy wheels have also been professionally refurbished and have no damage, corrosion etc.
Interior
Very little has been done here as all the original trim and fittings were in great shape and had not been interfered with. The seats in particular are in great condition with none of the wear you seen in other cars, testament to the low miles and how well it has been treated over its lifetime. It looks like the back row seats may never have been used from new and are in amazing condition. The seats, front arm rest and steering wheel have just been reconnolised and look spectacular.
Mechanicals
I had it fully serviced (using Bosch parts) when I bought it as it was due and at the same time replaced the timing belt. It runs perfectly and performs as it should. It's done 143k miles, low for one of these and this engine will happily cruise past 1, 000, 000 miles no problem.
The gearbox and 4x4 system overall work fine and the brakes and tyres are also in great shape. The troublesome air suspension system has also been professionally removed and replaced with a high quality coil spring and shock absorber system which still provides a great ride and handling balance and it's incredibly refined and effortless to drive. The tow bar does not look to have been used much but the electrics have been checked anyway and are also working fine. It has also just had some new rear anti roll bar bushes and a front drop link for the MOT.
It's beautifully built and finished and feels like it will go on for a hundred years. It is supremely refined and comfortable and makes my old G Wagon and Defender feel like broken tractors to drive. It has been faultless and great to own and I'm only selling due to needing to downsize my car size because of an impending house move. It is not expensive to tax and qualifies for cheaper classic car insurance. It can also be exported to the USA from next year.
