This is a opportunity to own an one-family-owner Toyota Hilux with less than 50, 000 original miles. It is a meticulously cared-for vehicle that has been comprehensively rebuilt and award-winning custom paint job.
Ownership: Single family owner since purchased new from a Toyota Essex dealer (25/ 08/ 1989). It was only used as a family car and never as a work horse.
Condition: Absolutely NO RUST repairs ever, never crashed, and always stored in a warm, dry garage. Every panel is straight and undamaged.
Mechanical Renewal: Extensive recent renewal of all braking and clutch hydraulics (master cylinders, calipers, etc.).
MOT: Just passed its last MOT with zero advisories; will have a brand new MOT upon sale.
Power & Performance
Engine: Completely rebuilt Rover 3. 5-Litre V8 engine.
Carburetion: Four-barrel Holley carbs, recently overhauled.
Exhaust: Custom-made, one-off exhaust system.
Drivetrain: Chassis (has a 4 inch body lift kit), gearbox, and running gear are all standard Toyota.
The Paintwork
This truck features award-winning piece of art:
Artist: Painted by Bill Legend, the original drummer for T-Rex. This was the only vehicle he ever painted.
Awards: Won Best Paint at every show entered, including major European events.
Design: Complex, highly detailed artwork inspired by Iron Maiden's No Mean City album cover.

Many thank for looking, Originally purchased as a family car, this exceptionally clean Hilux chassis was used as the foundation for a no-expense-spared, UK-based custom build in the early 90s.

Original Low-Use Chassis: Never used for commercial or demanding off-road work; initially a family car for towing a caravan on holidays.
Custom Suspension & Body Lift: Setup by Leader Suspension in Essex, renowned for their work with a former Formula 1 racing company on high-performance vehicles.
Rover V8 Conversion: Professionally installed, running through the standard gearbox (Engine fully rebuilt recently - see Restoration).
Custom Paint Job: Painted by acclaimed artist and family friend Bill Legend, who spent over two weeks just on the bonnet due to the complexity.
This vehicle won First Place at a major show soon after.
Unique Exhausts: Features custom Sidewinder exhausts exiting on each side, built in the TVR factory (by another family friend) giving it an undeniable presence and sound.
Recent Restoration (by the owner/ son):
The vehicle was recently recommissioned after years in heated storage due to parts seizing from lack of use. Work includes:
Engine Rebuild: The Rover V8 has been completely rebuilt "from the ground up."
Braking System: Replacement of brake master cylinder, calipers, and discs.
Clutch: New clutch master cylinder.
Electrics: Full overhaul and correction of all electrics.

Original Big Foot Parts: The full suspension lift kit is still available and included, allowing the new owner to easily convert the vehicle back to its original 90s "Big Foot" specification by simply fitting the large wheels.
Current Setup: Currently on more road-usable tyres for accessibility (due to owner's father's failing health).
