Thus was born Beta motocicli, an acronym of the initials of the two founding members: Enzo Bianchi and Arrigo Tosi.
In the 1950s, Beta tackled the 125 cc class with the launch of the ITAL-JAP 125 on the market, featuring a pressed sheet metal parallelogram fork combined with telescopic shock absorbers. Follows the M. T. 175 derived directly from vehicles intended for competition: a two-stroke single-cylinder capable of reaching a maximum speed of 130 km/ h.
