Description
The Ferrari 550 Maranello was first introduced to the public as the top model and successor to the Daytona in 1996 . Given a 5. 5 litre V12 (485hp) under the bonnet coupled to a manual 6-speed gearbox it was intended to be a ‘softer’ kind of GT taking the place of the F512M . Even though soft , various (private) teams used the 550 Maranello for GT and endurance racing ( FIA GT , the 24-hour LeMAns ) and Prodrive also developed these cars . A total of 3, 000 were taken into production .
Our 1997 Model has a gorgeous Rosso Corsa Red Metallic exterior finish paired with a Nero Daytona (black) interior . The paintwork is excellent and the interior matches the external quality seamlessly . It is no stretch of the imagination this Ferrari drives beautifully . The V12 soundtrack is fantastic , there is no lack of power and the gearbox works smoothly and precise . Make no mistake , this GT has a top of 323 km/ h so if you are bored of cruising that will be no issue for this wolf in sheep’s clothing , it won't disappoint .
