Insurance is due in just over 4 weeks for the Merc. To balance the costs and allow a quicker sale im dropping to a price ONLY avalailable until sold or ive re-insured.

Imported June 2023 and on the road by July;
First week on the road and we attended a weekend of one of the largest car gatherings in the UK. As if to prove credibility of this lovely drivers car, out of a weekend field of thousands it was picked in the top 7 for best car and came home with Highly Commended when being judged against 6 other beautiful clean polished and restored examples. Now back at the beginning of either a show season or for more regular usage, the car is available to the right person at the right price.
Either for slow rolling resto or just enjoy driving as is.
Its a lovely looking car with lots of (documented) monies spent on engine and maintenance. The information that came with the car indicated that the following had been done;
Engine rebuild
New clutch
New PS control valve and cylinder
Front end alignment tightened and set
New brakes
New shocks
New gas tank
Rebuilt radiator
New headliner
and a number of remedial cosmetic and material repairs and improvements
All of this just prior to purchase in late '22 ready for mid '23 import.
This is a 'Drivers car'; not a trailer queen. Driven regularly last year and now becoming a regular drive this year, this car has never disappointed and starts first time every time. Running on a twin exhaust system the car not only looks the part but sounds just as sweet on its big block V8.
Its a beautiful looking (and driving) cruiser with a 'used' interior that could benefit from a little tlc, altho this does not detract from the overall feel and presence of the car. Its a three on the tree manual which shifts smoothly thru the gears.
Comes with a file of receipts from the US as well as original replaced parts (in the trunk) and my Blood sweat and tears that its taken to get it over to the UK

Oh, and please make sure you at least have the money to import/ purchase the car (if a sale is agreed) before wasting either of our time with pic swapping and phone calls to realise you dont actually have the funds. Yes, people do that!
Bought in Minnesota (dry stored as classic owners in that state do), the import was laborious and painful with logistic issues thruout.
That meant by the time it arrived, circumstances were slightly different from when it was bought, hence the sale.
The car took over 6 months of haggling with the previous owner in the US (they dont like to sell to UK individuals!!!). Then as mentioned not an easy transition, but has since proven its worth.
