Description
Lovely Series III Super Snipe, 1961. Two previous owners. Belonged to a friend of my grandfather, I have known the car since the 1980s, and it became mine after he passed away. Looked after over the years and having spent its life in East Anglia always garaged as it is with me, it needs NO WELDING. The interior is lovely. 3 speed manual with overdrive. Its been loved over the years to the point the paint is polished thin in a few places, its a beautiful old thing and always starts. Lots of history. It isnt allowed on salty roads so its been asleep all winter apart from a run round the farm or two so will need a springtime fettling as normal, though i took her round the farm last weekend for most of the photographs. Ripe for easy improvement or use as is! The 3 litre engine sounds superb with a deep burble as they do and easily keeps up with modern traffic. We took it on the Moffat road run year before last and easily dealt with the hills.
