Vintage 1959 Beardmore MK VII London Taxi Maroon and Black
Looking for a quick sale, in very good condition as has been stored in a dry garage for nearly 6 years. It was rebored in 2007 four cylinders, four new pistons, polished crankshaft and bearings, reconditioned cylinder head and a new set of gaskets, as well as a new set of wheel cylinders that were fitted in 2019.
Re-upholstered drivers seat, electric fuel pump fitted.
The car does need some electrical work - column change.
Has a ford consul engine and gear box. This car was going to be used as a wedding car for my business, unfortunately that never happened. Only a small number of Beardmores in the UK are still around. Relevant paperwork of the history came with the car when I purchased it in the summer of 2019, an original brown log book, the date of the original registration which was on the 18th December 1959, bought by a London Taxi driver where it was used on a regular basis.
