Description: Giovanni Parrilla built his first motorcycle in 1946, dropping his surname's second 'r' to call the machine a Parilla. Parilla's first motorcycle was a 250cc overhead-camshaft single-cylinder racer, and the firm went on to build a range of lightweight machines using two-stroke and four-stroke engines. This very pretty 1959 125cc 2 stroke Speciale Super Sport model is in very good condition throughout and has been subject to an older restoration according to a letter present in the paperwork from the restorers Grandson stating that the bike was restored bike his late Grandfather. From the paperwork present it appears that the bike bought from an Italian collection & imported privately by the chap who restored it in the UK. It was subsequenty sold at auction in 2018 following his death fetching £2100 plus commision without being UK registered. It was then UK registered in 2019 by the new owner. The UK V5 logbook is present as pictured showing no previous UK keepers. A beautiful little machine by any standard but the best thing about this particular bike is it's mechanically good too. It starts, runs & rides well as can be seen in the Youtube video link above. The gearbox is good & the engine pulls nicely all the way through the rev range. As with all classic bikes it is being sold without warranty due to the age. HPI Clear with recent report present. Tax & MOT exempt as an historic vehicle. The frame & engine numbers are all present & correct matching those shown on the V5 logbook, HPI report & Francis Barnett dating certificate as pictured. Overall a very pretty & certainly very Italian looking classic that can be ridden on high days & holidays. With all vintage Italian bikes appreciating in value this is also a good investment that's better than money in the bank so what's not to like. Cheap delivery available nationwide. Please email for a quote. Priced to sell so don't miss it!
