For sale is my SS1 1800 Ti DET converted Scimitar which is a fast road and track car. The car originally had a Nissan 1800 turbo injection engine as used in Nissan 180SX when it was built by Reliant. I have converted the car to run the twin cam version that was used in the Nissan 200SX.

Engine

Engine rebuilt by the Headshop in Warrington CA18DET Nissan 1800cc.
Forged Wossner pistons and forged rods.
Rebuilt cylinder head.
T28 turbo freshly rebuilt.
Bespoke fabricated stainless steel exhaust manifold.
Charge cooler system with rad ducted in nose, header tank and pump
Davis Craig EWP115 electric water pump and controller.
Original water pump delete aluminium billet machined cover.
Aluminium radiator all hoses silicone, uprated fan mounted on laser cut plate with Davis Craig controller which operates the fan, plus original radiator switch still in use.
The Nissan ECU has been converted to Nistune, the car was set up on rolling road by Horsham Developments.
MAC valve and electronic boost controller engine is mapped for 3 boost pressures 0. 5 bar, 0. 75 bar and 1. 0 bar. This gives 225, 250 and 275 BHP.
Uprated 555cc fuel injectors and Z32 uprated MAF K&N filter.
Adjustable fuel pressure regulator and electronic pressure sensor.
Bespoke 2. 5 inch turbo down pipe in stainless steel and bespoke 2. 5 inch full exhaust system.
Oil filter take off with filter and temperature sensor mounted on front armature for easy oil changes.
Oil pressure sensor and pressure switch done properly on flexible hose.
Walbro uprated fuel pump and filter.
Fuel tank is bespoke internally baffled aluminium 40L with 1/ 2inch outlet to pump. Fuel sender and matched gauge.
Electronic sensors for oil and fuel pressure.
Knock sensor and display.
Lightened flywheel with uprated “competition clutches” clutch.
New engine mounts.
All rubber fuel hoses are cohline ethanol proof only use 99 ron Shell V power

Gearbox

The gearbox has been professionally rebuilt and is noise free. Filled with racing heavy shock gear oil.
Brakes
Front are Willwood Dynalite calipers with modified Mazda MX5 discs converted to single line.
Rear are drums with upgraded wheel cylinders and new springs etc.
New master cylinder to suit.
New handbrake cable, pads and shoes have plenty of life.

Suspension steering and final drive

Adjustable damping front shocks, uprated 300lb springs, poly bushed top wishbones strengthened by triangulation and plates added where ball joints fit. Bottom wishbone also uprated by adding plates to bottom.
New Wheel bearings, steering rack poly bushed
Rear trailing arms strengthened with flat bar strap welded around end flange etc.
Adjustable rear shocks spring seat and damping and uprated springs
Chevette (shorter) anti roll bar with bolted mounts and all poly bushed
Serria viscous LSD with lobro bolted drive shafts

Full safety devices 6 point roll cage fitted
Two Sparco bucket seats in red
Drivers floor lowered so more helmet headroom
Driver 6 point harness plus original seat belts
Electronic turbo boost controller
Electronic oil and fuel pressure gauge
Electronic Oil temperature gauge
Turbo boost gauge
Davis Craig water pump and fan controller
Knock sensor display
Switches for water pumps, fuel pump and cooling fan

Fire extinguisher plumbed with engine bay and cockpit nozzles

Outside

Metallic Gold paint. This car has been used on track so has the odd scrape. The boot lid has some minor damage. Comes with a spare boot lid which needs painting.
Wheels are powder coated black, tyres are Extreme list 1C track tyres in 195, 50, 15.
Galvanised chassis in very good condition
Black hardtop roof in very good condition
I have a soft top and frame which can go with the car if asking price is met
