This is a genuine sad sale of a truly outstanding car, used daily up to the end of December last year, happy to discuss the reason for sale privately. The condition of the car is a testament to how well the previous owner of 18 years looked after it, it truly is outstanding for a 25 year old car. I purchased it in October 2021, used it daily but took it to the next level, forgive the long list but some of the things I have done are. Cambelt and pump with receipt at 82800, full machine polish to restore the shine, alloys refurbed and new tyres fitted, all body plastic removed, stripped and repainted by a top quality bodyshop due to lacquer peel, right down to door handles, mirrors, bumpers etc, seats colour matched colour stripped and re stained, roof painted gloss black, remote control bluetooth dab Kenwood Sterio with upgraded JL speakers custom fitted, front suspension rebuilt due to one broken spring, but both sides done just to be safe, full major service carried out by a german car specialist at 87500 in December 2023 with receipt, hardly used since. This car drives as well as a modern A3, is rare, fast due to the 20 valve turbo engine, smooth, gets admiring looks and has been completely reliable, it even qualifies for classic insurance and can do 40mpg on a run. I hope you get the message I love this car and this is a reluctant sale. Be different, stand out a bit for not a lot of money, have you seen the prices of the S3!! Just to answer a question, the body is almost unmarked, 3 maybe 4 small stone chips and one tiny car park mark, the alloys are unmarked, thanks.
PS I can no longer use the car, don't really know what its worth but just want it to go to someone who will appreciate how much has gone in to this car.
