Due to time constraints, I unfortunately have to part with my beautiful T3. I have done a lot to the vehicle, it is ready to drive and you can get in and drive off straight away. The rear bench seat has been completely reupholstered and reupholstered true to the original, the two front seats are from a Porsche 944 and have also been completely reupholstered and reupholstered. I opted for these seats as they are very comfortable to sit on, especially on longer journeys. The vehicle has an H licence plate and can therefore be driven at low cost. The colour of the bus is yellow-green RAL 6018, which is the original colour of the car and very rare. This colour had to be ordered separately from VW.
There is hardly any rust on the vehicle, just a little flash rust and the odd trace of use, which can occur on a 34-year-old vehicle. If you are looking for a solid VW bus or an everyday classic, this is the right vehicle for you, because a lot has been done technically so that you can drive it without hesitation.
What has been done:
Stainless steel exhaust system -New clutch -New brake system -Original 57 hp diesel, replacement engine, overhauled and resealed, this is very robust as it still has no turbo -Technology overhauled -New tyres -New windscreen wipers -New door handles all round -New sliding door mechanism -Underbody derusted and sealed -New drive shafts It also has the 5-speed gearbox, which is very unusual for this engine, but it is very pleasant and very fuel-efficient due to the low engine speed.
So if you are looking for a reliable VW Caravelle and faithful companion, this is the right bus for you. Subject to errors in the text or prior saleThe vehicle was first registered in Germany in the 1990s, then it ran in Bulgaria and now it has been registered in Germany again. German papers and classic car certificate are therefore available. I specifically looked for a vehicle from a country where the winters are not very severe. So the VW has probably never seen salt. The bodywork is therefore in really good condition, and there is no rust in the known cavities, e. g. on the tailgate.
