My Father refurbished this car over a few years after buying it 2016.
Its in lovely working order and good condition. I drove it about a month ago and it was absolutely fine. The list of work he did includes:
Stripped down to the bare bones and worked on from the chassis up.
Bearings, ball joints. Chassis stripped and coated.
Brand new custom made wiring loom.
Body Paint work in original British racing green.
lots of new chrome and smaller items bought and fitted.
Engine reconditioned.
Custom made canvas hood made and fitted.
Some new clocks fitted (hence the low mileage on the odometer, I'm not sure of the original mileage)My Father bought this as a project back in 2016 from a chap in Kent in the south east of England. He'd owned it for quite a number of years I believe before that. The car was in pretty good condition when Dad bought it but he wanted to go through it top to bottom with his mechanics eye and high standards. He completed it in 2019.
