Truimph TR7 press car for restoration. The vehicle is one of the rare 22 press cars which were released to the motoring press prior to their official launch. JRW594V was given to Motor Magazine for road testing and you can do a Google search on the press cars. The car has been dry stored since 1996 when I purchased it so it really does look like a barn find and it also has the original engine fitted as the number on the block match the BMH certificate. The car was originally Russet Brown but somewhere the exterior was changed to red and I can understand why but for originality would be better returned to brown. The car does not need a re shell but corrosion is in most of the usual TR7 places . My intentions was to restore the car myself but I am being realistic and would have to live and be fit to a very old age to complete all the projects I have gathered up so hence better to sell and let an enthusiast carry out the restoration of a very rare and still beautiful vehicle. If only BL had kept production going when they had them sorted . Just remember how Tony Pond managed the beast of the rally TR7 V8. The car is located in Northern Ireland UK approximately 1 hour from Belfast Harbour.
JRW594V is one of only maybe 4 remaining TR7 press cars all with JRW*** V as their VRM.
