Stunning 1978 Mercedes 450SL in Thistle Green with Tan interior, arguably the best colour combination for the R107.
It runs and drives beautifully, as you would expect an exceptional R107 to do.
It has covered just shy of 122, 000 miles and has low ownership.
The bodywork is good, very straight and solid. It does have a couple of minor blemishes, but as you can see from the photographs it does not detract from the look of the car at all.
It comes with a colour matching hardtop, which has a couple of areas of bubbling that will need addressing. The soft top is in good condition, but has faded.
They have hardly used it in the few years they have owned it and when it was used it was during the hot summer days.
The reason for sale is a loss of storage and impending move overseas.
The bulkhead is solid and the sills are strong, with no major signs of corrosion on the underside. It has recently had new front shocks and a master cylinder.
It is priced accordingly for a swift and smooth sale.
