Under the bonnet sits the original 1. 6-litre Ford ‘crossflow’ engine, delivering around 100hp to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual gearbox.
The car weighs approximately 700kg.

First introduced in 1964, the Marcos GT featured fibreglass bodywork as well as an unusual Frank Costin-designed plywood monocoque chassis, and was introduced as an interesting alternative to the vehicles offered by the marque’s competitors, such as Lotus.
This 1600 GT needs a fully restoration and respraye as well
Inside, the cabin has been the original in red vinyl, the original dashboard, steering wheel and Smiths gauges.

It will be accompanied by a history file, period photographs, and the original bill of sale, and a few service invoices.
