This classic campervan was converted by P White (Sidmouth Ltd) in 1965.
Owned by its previous owner for 16 years with 6 former keepers in total.
In 2016 the campervan underwent a full bare metal restoration ensuring its future for many more years.
In 2018 a new 1. 6 turnkey engine was fitted along with the following modifications:
Front brake disc conversion
Creative steering rack fitted
Straight rear axle fitted
Set of black over polished alloy wheels with new tyres fitted
Adjustable rear spring plates fitted
Front and rear SPAX adjustable shock absorbers fitted
Alternator conversion
Refurbished German SOLEX carburettor fitted
Electronic ignition system installed
Ethanol resistant fuel pipes installed for modern day fuel
Fire suppression system installed
Complete stainless steel exhaust system – sounds lovely!
This classic has the original Devon furniture with a few of the previous owner’s personal additions which do complement the overall period character of the campervan.
The engine starts and runs very well and the gearbox is smooth.
This classic campervan can be used daily if required and will certainly put a smile on your face whenever you are driving it either for pleasure or perhaps to one of the many VW Campervan Clubs events.
