Bought approx 15 years ago and, subsequent to failing MOT due to the usual Morris Minor structural rust problems, the van was totally rebuilt, starting with chassis removal. The chassis was shot blasted and a new rear quarter fitted.
The van was re-built on the strengthened chassis with new parts:-
floors, (cab and van), sills, inner and outer wings, wheel arches, rear quarters. The gutters, which are notorious rot spots in van were all repaired.
All bushes and oil seals were replaced as were the lights and weather seals.
The MoT inspector commented that "it was like a new vehicle".
