I have owned this car nearly 9 years. It ran and drove well then although the brakes weren't great. The first 2 photos are from then.
It was stripped down in 2018 as it needed extensive welding to rectify previous bodges. New sills and arches, fabrication of inner arches, lower rear quarters,
floorpans, A posts, door bottoms.
All welding done to a really good standard - not just patched, as can be seen from photos.
It now needs undersealing, painting, fitting brake / fuel lines and generally reassembling.
All the parts are there including new rear callipers, front and rear screen rubbers, nearly new front bumper and various other things.
One existing front wing was good and obviously had been replaced and I obtained a new old stock for the other side which is not in the photos but included.
The front seats and screens are there but not in the photos.
I have now moved to Kent and I can't see me getting it finished so decided to sell.
It has lots of old invoices and mots some of which are in the photos and service book stamped to 2003 at 77000 miles. Current mileage is around 91000.
There are handbooks and some advertising brochures as well.
I have a printout of all previous owners from the DVLA when these were still available.
Seesick Steve owned it for 6 years before me and the motoring journalist Martin Buckley for a few months.
The engine hasn't been started for a couple of years but ran fine. It turns over by hand.
The rear suspension has been refitted so the car rolls for loading on to a truck.
NOTE : The rear seat, front bumper, carpets and trim will need collecting from a different location near Kingsbridge Devon TQ7
A van will be needed for this.
