This is my own car, I have owned it since June 2021. The log book is in my name and address where it can be viewed.
It is all ready for the road.
Only selling as I now need a car that I can load large items of furniture into.
Low mileage for the age of car, 116, 500.
All common and known faults have been addressed ie;
new timing chain tensioners,
door window drop sorted,
window trims replaced,
alarm fault fixed,
dashboard does not creek,
ABS sensors all done.
Does not lose oil or coolant.
No engine or fault warning lights coming on.
It’s also had;
new tyres fitted recently,
new spark plugs,
new rear wheel arches and sills fitted by top renowned body shop which was done so well that even Jaguar main dealer had a close look and thought they were still original.
Drives beautifully. Sounds nice , very smooth and responsive.
Excluding what I paid for the car, I have also spent nearly £5, 500 on making it as good as can be. I have kept a list and receipts and there is some previous service history.
Interior is in great condition just very minor leather surface cracking to the drivers seat.
Bodywork and paint are in super condition,
no dings nor dents nor rotten rusty bits.
This is a smart looking car.
Genuine, straight and un-molested.
All original spec.
Still gets admiring looks and comments and will rise in value like the E-Type and XJS.
Sherwood Green looks like British Racing Green but because it’s metallic, Jaguar call it Sherwood. Everyone thinks it’s BRG. It even has a lovely hint of metallic blue in certain light and really gets people talking.
This car can return 30+MPG
It is insurance group 37E but can be insured cheaply as a classic.
And remember, it’s ULEZ Compliant so it’s pretty cheap motoring for a four litre Jag!
Will have a new MOT for the buyer once the sale is agreed.
Jaguar really got its style back when they built the XK8. It has super-car looks very much like an Aston Martin DB7 but, at the moment, cost very little money. These will rise like the
E-Type and even as the XJ-S has done recently. Still feels a very special car, gets great comments and admiring looks.
