This series 5 Autobianchi Abarth is in great condition, the bodywork is rock solid and rust free. The engine has been professionally rebuilt recently using quality parts supplied by Passione 58 70, in Italy. New gears and bearings to the gearbox. Lowered suspension, new tyres, New 34 DMTR carb, Yellow stuff brake pads, new discs, full Waxoil under car, new cv boots, new rear suspension arms, track rod ends, gearchange bush kit, re-cored radiator, four-wheel alignment, etc etc. Absolute hoot to drive a real Mini beater. I believe there are less than 10 in U. K. - all parts available from U. K. and Italian suppliers. This is a light weight, front wheel drive car that leaves the classic mini standing. Goes around corners like its on rails with an exciting amount of jeopardy ! These cars have a big following in Europe where they are raced as well as collected. The ABARTH model is the one to have and this car with a newly re-built engine is putting out more power than when it left the factory in Milan in 1980. Inside it has comfortable seats and oil temp, oil pressure and amps meters. Once you've had a drive you'll be hooked.
