Current ownership for ten years and I am selling due to lack of use. 9 months MOT remaining and in very good overall condition with no rot. It has been regularly waxoyled which I suspect has helped to keep the rust gremlins at bay.
Cloth interior with hard dash. 200 TDI engine which is obviously bullet proof and surprisingly economical (it will do 35mpg). 182, 000 miles on the clock and I have had no issues with the vehicle other than replacing the clutch and the water pump in ten years of ownership. New battery and excellent tyres. Timing belt changed in 2020 and it has done less that 3000 miles since then.
Cosmetically it is not perfect with a slight amount of rust showing on the window trim, front bumper and rear bumper trim. One of the alloy wheels is showing some corrosion so they would benefit from a refurb. The rear headlining has sagged and I have removed the door bump strips. One of these is missing although they are still available. Overall the paintwork is good but not perfect.
Comes with a spare set of Range Rover Classic wheels (different style) and some spare lamp glasses. Has genuine Land Rover sheepskin seat covers on the front seats.
This has been a very reliable vehicle that drives exceptionally well but I can't justify keeping it for the amount I am using it. A great looking classic, it turns heads and gets plenty of thumbs up from other drivers who clearly exhibit good taste.
