I am selling this car on behalf of the widow of a long standing stag club member who passed away last year.
The car is in very nice condition and runs, goes and stops extremely well. It is Carmine red with beige interior and manual transmission with overdrive.
It is completely standard throughout. The only modification is a kenlowe fan.
The owner loved his stag and lavished much time and attention on it. Being a toolmaker by trade he was able to maintain and repair it to a very high standard.
He bought the car in 2009 and completed the following work:
Fitted Poly bushes all round
New Front shocks, springs, wheel bearings & ball joints
Steering column refurb
New Rear shocks, springs, hub bearings & drive shaft UJ's
SS braded brake flexibles all round & rear brake cylinders
New Prop shaft UJ's, clutch (Inc slave), gearbox oil seals & refurbished diff
Engine overhaul Inc bearing shells, timing chains, piston rings & cam buckets also spin off oil filter
On the inside, front seat foams and diaphragms were replaced on both seats and a new carpet fitted
Since the rebuild work the oil has been changed every 3000 miles, coolant and brake fluid every two years plus any other work as and when required.
This really is a well loved and maintained car. The only reason it is for sale is because of the untimely death of its owner.
