1982 'Classic' Mini with only 28000kms - 17500 miles from new.
Interesting history - purchased new in Nantes, France , and used locally for 10 years, until a victim of the French scrappage scheme in 1992.
Rescued by an Englishman living in France, unable to use it on French numbers, he UK registered it, and ran it locally for a couple years, unti the French decided he could no longer use it in France on UK plates.
He then dry stored it in 1994 for 30 years .
Now in the UK, it is remarkably sold, never welded, none needed. There is some corrosion bottom of the (LHD) drivers door and a small dent in the passenger door, where the scrap yard moved it in 1992 . . .
Mechanically it needs recommissioning, the engine runs, it needs a clutch, and the brakes need looking at. All tyres are new.
Paintwork is 42 years old, all original.
With a little effort it will make an outstanding car.
