1980 Porsche 911 Series G

Porsche 911 1980 SC “Backdated RS Style”
Originally UK RHD delivered white 911 SC which has been repainted about 7 years ago to silver, when it was “backdated” with new steel wings & bonnet and RS style GRP bumpers . Currently all the front panels while bolted onto the car require aligning to get the panel gaps correct. Also the front and rear bumpers are just loosely attached for the photos.
As the car has been in a project state for so long and at times just been pushed to the back of the garage. It does have some minor paint chips due to this, though nothing major.
The V5 is in my name and I have owned it for around 5 years when I bought it as a completely disassembled yet painted project. In that time I started to reassemble the car with new or Second hand parts where required. Unfortunately just don’t have the time required to complete.
It’s now in the state that you see in the photos. It still needs work to put back on the road. However it’s a great base to start from with no rust !
Virtually all the original parts are here to complete the project along with a considerable amount of new parts that I have purchased over the years. I have not photographed everything however it is all here. Including the driver’s seat & original gearbox . Only major part that I don’t have is the windscreen ( it smashed in storage)
The motor is as shown in the photos totally disassembled so any prospective buyer can see that there is no damage and it could be either reassembled and only replace the essentials or could be used for a full on build.
Could also be a great base for an EV build if that’s what you are looking for.
