Description
Aston Martin DBS 6
Year of manufacture 1968
Chassis 5032
5 Former Keepers
Purchased in 2018 for restoration, got the car running using adaptive means, but other projects have forced this car to the back of the queue, and I don't have adequate time to apply to put this beast back to its glory.
Last family owned the car for 35 years.
The Service History was lost by the owner, but he owned a Saab Main dealer in Kinston upon Thames, so any maintenance required would have been undertaken by his team of mechanics.
Where the car was stood for a substantial period, brake components require refurbishment / replacement and with major service, bodywork will require overhaul, though the panels are in reasonably shape, the boot floor has corrosion, along with other areas of the mild steel.
Seats are in good condition, door cards require attention, and chrome work will require attention.
Overall, the car is one of the first DBS models, and used the DB5/ DB6 engine where the Marek V8 engine was not available, the Straight 6 still provides 280 BHP, so still a mover.
Tried my best to provide most information for you to appreciate what this purchase would entail, but happy to answer any questions
For obvious reasons, the car would need to be recovered by trailer or other means.
