For sale the 1981 BMW R100RS motorcycle, current mileage reading 71, 090 (this will increase with the good weather)
The motorcycle was purchased at circa 69, 800 miles and during the current ownership has covered about 1, 285 miles in about 3 years – hence the main reason for the sale.
During the current ownership, the motorcycle has been serviced as listed and runs smoothly.
Over £2600 has been spent, this is now a very sorted and capable motorcycle. All fluids – brake fluid, engine/ transmission and final drive oil, tyres have been changed.

There is no smoke during riding, and the engine uses no oil.
Battery, brakes and tyres are all in good condition.
Engine sounds smooth and pulls well through the gears.

2x factory BMW panniers and an addition top box included gives plenty of storage for trips away.

All lights and gauges work.

All original paint, wheels look as if they have been refinished. The motorcycle appears largely original and shows its 43 years / 71k miles well.
All ready and waiting for its next road trip.
