Location: Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.
This is my 1997 Jaguar XJ6 Executive finished in Flamenco Red over Beige half leather interior, with 3 previous owners and 186, 220 miles. It is a decently spec’d example, please refer to photos. The car is currently on the private plate P7 KGT, this plate will not be included in the sale unless you wish to pay an extra cost. I bought this recently from a family friend who unfortunately lost all the paperwork in their ownership (extremely useful) meaning I have minimal paperwork with the car including unfortunately no service history. I however know it was serviced when it was MOT’d in Jan 24. I am selling as I simply don’t have the use for it with my current work situation.
This car drives fantastically, the engine is silky smooth (as an AJ6 should be) as is the gearbox and has no faults or unwanted noises. The brakes are also brilliant, I was told they have been replaced recently along with some suspension components but I don’t have the paperwork to prove it. The car rides smoothly with a slight knock from the rear right, however only being MOT’d recently, it hasn’t worried me enough to look into it, it could also do with an alignment. The ABS unit has also been replaced recently (again, I don’t have the paperwork unfortunately) The tyres have plenty of tread and all the wheels are in good nick. There is also a spare wheel and tyre the same style as on the car currently!
The interior is in reasonable condition for the age and mileage, there are two rips on the drivers seat and the pixels on the radio have faded. Other than that, the interior is in great condition. It also has the usual Jag headlining pinned up. The drivers side window controls also don’t work for the passenger side (confusing!)
The bodywork is reasonable, there are patches of rust on the car (as to be expected on an X300), the other imperfections I have shown in the photos.
