1971 Volvo P1800 Overdrive Great Condition Your Classic Car.

Beautiful P1800E Overdrive with history and 14 years owned by the last owner. Neatly maintained and with various invoices and MOT forms. The last MOT was without 1 remark.

The exterior has been repainted in the past in the original colour "Guld 105 metallic" and that has been done very nicely. The paint looks very clean with only slight signs of use. The doors close excellently and all locks still work with the original keys. The chrome bumpers are neat with some patina.

The interior is beautiful and very well cared for. The seats were newly upholstered in the past with the correct beige leather upholstery and it just looks very nice. The leather is undameged and the seats have the original sleeping hardware and adjustable lumbar support. Was very progressive back then by the way. The original dashboard is completely undamaged and all the gauges work as they should. Even the clock still works. This is the facelift version with the black gauges, white counters and wood inlays in the dashboard.

The revised B20 injection engine starts on the button and runs nicely without any hars noises. As you know, this engine has an excellent reputation; smooth, strong and indestructible. In recent years, the coupé has also been well maintained, there are invoices present with a value of € 8, 100 for maintenance, including an engine overhaul. An anti-rust treatment was carried out with fluid film, the brake booster was replaced and four new Michelin tyres were fitted. The rear suspension has been modified with Bilstein shock absorbers and new coil springs. The tyres have covered only 3, 450 km.

The P1800 is a timelessly elegant beauty. What a masterpiece made by Frua and Pelle Petterson; stylish and with beautiful proportions.
