The car was originally ordered by a member of NATO and first registered in March 1996, and then registered in the UK in September of the same year, it is a full UK specification vehicle and I have a copy of the “build sheets” which confirms the details.
Fitted with the legendary straight 6 cylinder 24 valve engine, one of the finest ever made by MB many believe mated to the very smooth 5 speed automatic box with switchable sports mode. There is no evidence of wiring loom issues or cylinder head gasket failure.
