I had a red MGA Mk2 in the '60's and wanted to relive the experience. I bought the MG from a specialist in Thame. It had been imported from California by the previous owner and converted to right hand drive. The MGA was the first aerodynamic car built by MG. It is a beautiful design with a proper chassis and body panels bolted on. The MGOC is a superb source of all parts and accessories. The car was sound but I decided on a total professional restoration to eliminate all rust; carry out full rust proofing and bring the car to better than new condition. It is a splendid example and will delight its next owner on any sunny day.
