Genuine 525i Sport fully restored through 2021/ 2022 and had it's first MOT in July 2022. It has had minimal use since restoration and has been dry stored in my garage at all times. It looks and drives beautifully and it is hard to believe it's nearly 23 years old. I had the car restored professionally and sourced the highest quality components possible using genuine BMW parts where practical and top quality OE parts otherwise (produced in Europe and not China).

Due to family commitments and long working hours I have no time to enjoy the car and I cannot bring myself to use it as a daily driver (my commute is 140 miles a day). I have decided to sell it and replace it with a modern performance car which I will get more use out of.

If you're reading this you know the E39 5 series is widely regarded as being one of the best saloon cars ever created. More than 1. 5 million where built but their numbers are dwindling as these car suffer terribly with rust and become uneconomical to repair for most people. 1990s/ 2000s era cars are now becoming more desirable as this era of cars is probably the last that you can work on without the need of dealer spec diagnostic equipment.

My E39 has had all major work done and looks beautiful. The idea was to bring the car back to as close to original factory specification as possible. It is ready for the show season and to be enjoyed. Just fuel it, drive, and enjoy. I know original cars are often more desirable however this is a car that can be used. At 20+ years old no matter how good they look on top there will be hidden rust underneath and every suspension component will be shot. My original intention with this car was to give it a fresh coat of paint and use it. However once I started stripping it down I soon realized that it needed much more than that hence the rather high expenditure! 

The car comes with its original folder including the manual and service history book plus a stack of receipts for all the new parts that have been fitted.
