It’s been looked after for me by BMS in Surrey (who described the car to me as a ‘very good one’). The work I have had done is:
Rod Bearings sorted by BMS
Inspection 2 (3k miles since)
Boot floor inspected. No faults
Goodyear Eagle F1s all round (4k miles since)
Aircon Regas
New Coil Springs
New Track Rods
New Fan Clutch
New Air Pump
Full wheel alignment
It comes with 2 keys, full book pack, service book, a large history file and original sales brochure.
The spec is pretty big!
Manual Gearbox
Glass Sunroof
Rear Blind
Heated Seats
Xenon headlights
Electric memory seats
Auto Wipers and headlights
19in M3 wheels
Factory Sat nav replaced with OEM look CarPlay system Avin Avant. £1200 fitted 6 months ago.
DAB Radio
Crystal clear bluetooth phone calls.
I am open to sensible offers.
It’s time to sell my amazing E46 M3! We are embarking on a house extension, and although this is a painful move, I have to sell the M3 to free up some money. I have spent the last year getting the car in great shape. Had all the important work done. New rod bearings being the main thing.
I just took it down to BMS Surrey to check it over in preparation for sale. Asking them to highlight anything that might come up in the next MoT. Nothing! It has a clean bill of health.
I have traced the ownership history and have details of all the owners and where it’s lived over the years. Details of this is in the paperwork.
It’s a 2004 car so it’s less susceptible to the boot floor issues. I had the boot floor inspected and its confirmed to be solid. The car has not been abused and remains in good structural condition.
This is a very well sorted, solid, unmolested M3 that is ready to drive away with no obvious big expenses on the horizon. Everything that needed doing, has been done. I will be sad to see it go, I have had 4, 000 happy miles in it, but the house extension now takes priority.
