2001 BMW 3 Series E46 (1999-2005) 330i

I've owned this beautiful car for the last ten years, keeping it in dry storage for most of this time. I would take her out every few weeks for run and ensure that all maintenance and MOTs were kept up to date. Prior to me owning it it was owned by a local photographer who only really used it for wedding shoots.

The interior is in lovely condition. There are no rips or tears on the seats, with only a few light scratches visible on the leather. The back seats have never been used since I have owned the car, and look as if they have had very little, if any use prior to that. Although there is a cassette player in the car, this is connected to a factory fitted CD multi changer which is located in the boot. All carpets and mats are in fantastic condition. The only real negative about the interior is that the drivers electric window motor is very slow and sometimes needs a little but of assistance!

The body is in excellent original condition, as can be seen in the photographs. One of the rear arches was professionally repaired and resprayed a few years ago and looks as good as new. Most years she has flown through her MOT without so much as an advisory. In the last few weeks a new front shock absorber has been fitted.

Mechanically, there are no known issues with the car. She fires up on the button with the iconic 3 litre straight six engine idling and running sweetly. The automatic gear change is smooth and precise and no warning lights are visible on he dash. Since I have owned the car, there has been a slight oil leak which I have never fully investigated, but it certainly hasn't not caused any issues. An easy fix, I am sure, for someone who knows how!

The car comes with plenty service and maintenance history as well as all past MOT's. All original keys, handbooks, tool kit and first aid kit are also included. The car is currently MOT'd until August 2024.

It's difficult to find any similar examples with this mileage, condition and price. It really would take very little to bring this honest, original car up to show condition. Increasingly difficult to find in good condition, this E46 is definitely a future classic.

Although the car is located in the outer Hebrides of Scotland, I am more than willing to take her to the mainland highland port of Ullapool for collection.
